Red Composites has gained qualification and supply contracts for carbon fibre Towpregs based upon ‘RCX0125’ high performance epoxy resin matrix. The RCX0125 matrix system has been specifically developed for industrial scale manufacture of type-3 pressure cylinders. Exhibiting ease of processing, strong service performance and attractive cost, the system is now commercially available to serve CNG, hydrogen, industrial gas and SCBA markets.
